Environmental management comprises a significant component of Hatch Mott MacDonald’s suite of professional service offerings. Since the promulgation of comprehensive federal and state environmental legislation and regulations, we have maintained a proactive approach to the evaluation and resolution of environmental issues on behalf of our clients.

Our comprehensive environmental services offerings extend to indoor and outdoor environments and include all media. Working as a strong client advocate, we have completed all phases of environmental site assessment, investigation, remedial measure development, and implementation. We have undertaken solid waste and recyclables management planning studies and facilities permitting, design, and construction management. We have been advising our clients on storage tank management issues for over twenty years.  We support the development of new facilities by conducting pre-design surveys, identifying environmentally sensitive areas such as wetlands and other protected habitats, guiding our clients through the regulatory maze of requirements under NEPA and other applicable regulations, and preparing sustainable, context sensitive designs.  In addition, we routinely support our clients’ day to day operations with environmental monitoring activities using state of the art field equipment under the auspices of our stringent health & safety programs.
