Hatch Mott MacDonald has been offering civil, environmental, and municipal services for over 70 years. HMM’s experience includes municipal engineering, public policy and planning, and public works management. Our services provide an added benefit to communities by helping them effectively and efficiently implement capital improvements and special projects.
AS part of our municipal services, HMM offers engineering services relating to public roadway and right-of-way evaluation, design, and maintenance. HMM also provides licensed land surveying, tax map maintenance/preparation services, and a full-range of Information Management, Building Information Modeling, and Geographic Information System (GIS) database services.
HMM offers advisory professional engineering and planning consultation services related to Planning Board and Zoning Board of Adjustment activities, including attendance at Board Meetings, as well as providing technical review of applications to assist local Board(s) in their review and approval process. Our staff is familiar with Municipal Land Use Law, Local Public Contracts Law, and the application of local municipal codes, and also offers follow-up construction administration and inspection services to ensure that land use board applicants comply with the Board approval requirements.
The firm continues to meet the challenge of implementing proper land use planning and zoning principles, balancing environment with growth, preparing water and sewer master plans, designing municipal transportation systems, and upgrading the necessary infrastructure for municipalities to adequately meet current and future demand.
