Albert Beninato
East Unit Managing Director
Albert Beninato, PE, PP, BCEE, is Hatch Mott MacDonald’s Executive Vice President and Managing Director for the firm’s Eastern United States operations, which includes approximately 1000 staff located in 37 offices.
With 36 years of experience, Albert has managed complex, multi-million-dollar wastewater projects, public works projects, stormwater and drainage projects, road reconstruction projects, recreational projects and shoreline protection, mitigation, and improvement projects. He has represented numerous municipal and regional clients, and has also served on Management Boards of Joint Ventures for a number of large infrastructure projects in the East Region.
Albert is a member of many professional organizations including the American Society of Civil Engineers, the Water Environment Federation, and the New Jersey Municipal Engineering Institute, for which he has served on the Board of Governors. Albert is also a Board Certified Environmental Engineer with the American Academy of Environmental Engineers and a “Life Member” in the American Water Works Association.
