Hunterdon County, NJ

The Town of Clinton retained Hatch Mott MacDonald to design and manage its Salt Storage Facility Project, which directly benefited the local public with improved stormwater runoff quality and improved storage and accessibility of roadway deicing material. The facility includes a permanent enclosed structure for roadway deicing material storage, on-site drainage improvements for conveyance around the proposed structure, earthwork activities, conduit outlet projection for soil erosion control, and a dry well system to promote groundwater recharge and comply with regulations for recharge and water quantity reductions.

HMM was responsible for site design, including grading, driveway improvements, and stormwater management. HMM also procured all necessary outside agency approvals and permits, inspected and supervised construction, and performed project management tasks from the Contract Document preparation phase through the Contract bidding process, and to project completion and closeout. HMM also performed all construction inspection for site improvements, including a Certificate of Occupancy inspection with recommendations to the Construction Official
