Environmental Compliance Services

The “Techs” (NexTech, GalvTech, and MetalTech) produce galvanized steel to meet client specifications.  Each of the Techs runs a steel sheet continuous zinc galvanizing line with pre-heat and annealing furnaces.  The processes at each facility are subject to numerous local, state, and federal regulations.  Regulators include the Allegheny County Health Department, Allegheny County Sanitary Authority, Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection, Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry, and the United States Environmental Protection Agency.

Retained by the Techs since 1995, HMM provides Annual Environmental Compliance services including SARA 312 and 313 reports, hazardous waste Biennial Reports, residual waste Biennial Reports, SPCC/PPC Plan revisions, preparing and updating residual waste Source Reduction Strategies, NPDES permitting, compliance audits, and air emissions reports.  Additionally, HMM provides general environmental consulting for the Techs.
