Gordon’s Corner Water Company (GC) operates two water distribution systems serving approximately 20,000 customers in three municipalities. The distribution system is comprised of 220 miles of water main covering over 40 square miles. HMM has converted GC’s paper mapping system to an electronic, seamless mapping system while creating a GIS. HMM currently hosts all of GC’s mapping and GIS data while providing on-going maintenance to these systems. This relationship has existed since 2002.
OAS performed a mapping conversion in 2002 of GC’s paper mapping system and later converted the Parkway system in 2003. The system maps were set to New Jersey State Plane NAD 83 and vectorized into a seamless AutoCAD mapping base. This conversion also produced a full GIS.
HMM currently provides on-going maintenance to Gordon’s Corner for their mapping and GIS database. By maintaining this system HMM is able to provide economical, customized mapping and data applications. Map Atlases are printed annually for field use for both systems. HMM provides continual ad-hoc mapping and data requests in various requested formats.
HMM hosts all of GC’s mapping and GIS data.
